Do I show the cashier my GiftYa?

It depends on the method you chose when you received the GiftYa.

If you chose "Activate a GiftYa to your Visa, Mastercard, or Amex" you simply pay with that debit or credit card at the time of purchase. GiftYa is then alerted a purchase was made at the selected merchant, and we will immediately issue a credit on your card.

The cashier will process your purchase like any other transaction and does not need to be informed of the GiftYa.

If you chose the "Use as an eGift" method, you can display the QR code or barcode on your mobile device to your cashier.
